Yes, you can make Minecraft objects and then place them in real life (augmented reality, of course) which is where they'll remain forever. 13th Lab AB (opens new tab), Minecraft Reality utilizes PointCloud SDK(opens new tab) that allows you to map and track 3D space using SLAM (Simultaneous Location and Mapping).

You can also upload your own Minecraft worlds to the app's website (opens in new tab) and then place them in reality, plus you can explore Minecraft worlds that others have placed in nearby locations, and share screenshots of Minecraft worlds in real life to Facebook and Twitter. The app is now available for $1.99 (PS1.49).
