Minecraft is a truly versatile sandbox game, but perhaps one of its most fascinating uses is in education. Now, the Minecraft: Education Edition mobile version is expected to assist teachers across the world, as it's now "available to all" in open beta.
If you're not aware, this version of Minecraft is designed to educate students on a variety of subjects including STEM subjects and mathematics. Although the Minecraft: Education Edition PC version is available for a short time, it has not been available on iOS or Android except for a few lucky people.
Mobile users will be pleased to know that the beta version of Minecraft Education Edition is now available on the device they use to read this article. If you'd like more information on how to download the correct version then you can read all about it at that link.
This beta version has important enhancements that regular Minecraft players consider to be standard, such as an increase in world height as well as new cave generation options, higher mountains and a larger world. That's all stuff from the Caves and Cliffs part 2 update, which feels like it's been a long time ago, given that we're all playing The Wild now.
You can now learn wherever you are!

There are some improvements to multiplayer too that are aimed at making things easier to sort out by needing less configuration of networks. It's a bit niche since only teachers or students are likely to play Minecraft: Education Edition, however, it's beneficial for this version of the game to be more accessible for those who might not have PCs at home.
In other Minecraft news, a fan decided to go ahead and recreate the original trailer of the game but in the modern day of the game. It's a great way to relive the past and you should definitely check it out.
